One of the problems that we often encounter especially during parties is Tinnitus. Tinnitus is a symptom wherein there is ringing, buzzing as well as hissing or cracking sound in both of our ears. Of course, the sounds that we hear can be found in only one ear or in both ears. People who are suffering from it will usually have a feeling of pain and annoyance. Usually, there is also the feeling of being uncomfortable and several headaches. There are a lot of ways on how to cure ringing in ears and it usually depends on the cause of the symptom.
What causes Tinnitus?
There are a lot of causes for tinnitus. One of reasons why people get it is because of allergic reactions. Yes, once we have been exposed to several allergy inducing particles such as dust or animal fur we often sneeze continuously and it often causes the ringing in our ears. Other reasons can be due to high or low blood circulation, diabetes, tumors, thyroid problems and even injury. Once we get a head or neck injury we often get tinnitus. Several medications such as medicines, antibiotics, sedative, aspirin and antidepressants can cause the ringing.
Other diseases that can contribute to tinnitus are colds, flu, allergy flare ups and migraine. Some of the irritants that can cause it are alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, sugar and several types of sweeteners. Probably one of the well known causes of the ringing in the ears is noise. Yes, once we visit a party we often have a ringing and tingling sensation in our ears after we go out. This is because our eardrums are bombarded with loud sounds and it often causes the ringing.
How to cure ringing in ears?
There are a lot of ways in which can be cure ourselves from tinnitus. One of which is we can simply go out from the noisy places. Yes, once we go out from parties or in bars our hearing will be back to normal. During holidays, people also enjoy firing several firecrackers. Firecrackers can also be noisy and they can actually cause the ringing sensation. In order to solve that we only need to put on ear covers or earphones so that our hearing will not be affected by the loud bang. Usually, tinnitus is self limiting so it often cures itself after a couple of hours.
Other treatments on how to cure ringing in ears includes the control of medication and using antihistamine in order to cure allergic reactions. Again, once the allergic reactions stop the tinnitus will also stop. In case it is due to poor blood circulation or diabetes proper treatment is needed. This is also the case when it comes to patients suffering from tumors, injury and thyroid problems. Consult a physician if the ringing sensation does not subside after a couple of hours.
